Nicole Witte Solomon is a writer and filmmaker. Her 2014 short horror film, Small Talk, screened in festivals across the globe, winning numerous awards including the Golden Kleene Award at Arse Electronika Festival on Sex and Tech, the first-ever film to do so. She contributed a segment about Joan of Arc to the 2015 musical film anthology Bring Us Your Women and in 2016 released the horror short, Mare, followed by another, It’s Normal, in 2019. Her film work has been featured in The New Yorker, USA Today, Bitch, Bust, and Film Threat, among other websites and publications.  Her writing has been published by New York Magazine, AfterEllen, Tits and Sass, and $pread  among others. She is one half of 4MileCircus, a production and media services company, along with producing partner Sean Mannion. She holds a BA in cultural studies from Eugene Lang and an MFA in writing and directing narrative fiction film from The City College of New York. She lives in Brooklyn.
