I’m a nanny, freelance writer, and film maker in Brooklyn. I am currently an MFA candidate in The City College of New York’s Media Arts program, concentrating on writing and directing narrative fiction film. I am currently in post-production on a horror film I wrote and directed called Small Talk. I cook a lot when I have the time.
I blog at The Mystery Diary with my cohort Robin Jacks.
I make videos with nonprofit and social justice organizations like Jewish Voice for Peace, Ma’yan, Jews For Racial and Economic Justice, and Women for Life (Palestinian human rights group) as well as musical artists like The Shondes, Martin Bisi, and Alina Simone. I have written for New York Magazine, HEEB, Prefix, Rap Genius, On the Issues, AfterEllen, Feministe, PopMatters, Green Living, Plenty, Examiner.com and The Mother Nature Network, among other websites and print publications. I also tweet a lot.
